Planning Officer – Mining

North West, Rustenburg
Salary: R50 000 per month
Our client in the mining sector is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Planning Officer to join their operation in Rustenburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring short- to medium-term mine planning to ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Diploma or Degree in Mining Engineering or related qualification
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a mining planning role
• Previous mining contractor experience (non-negotiable)
• Experience in underground mining (platinum environment advantageous)
• Proficient in mine planning software (e.g. MineRP, Deswik, Datamine, Surpac or similar)
• Advanced MS Excel and reporting skills
• Sound knowledge of the Mine Health & Safety Act
