The Planning Superintendent is responsible for establishing and sustaining a robust maintenance planning, shutdown planning, failure analysis, and maintenance performance reporting infrastructure at Ngodwana Mill, supporting the mill's journey toward becoming a World Class Business.
Key Responsibilities
Shutdown Planning & Execution: Coordinate and maintain the mill shutdown schedule, ensuring effective forward planning and strict compliance with the Shutdown Business Process by managing planners and coaching engineers.
Work Management & Planning: Establish and sustain effective weekly and daily planning processes to ensure optimal control of work in progress.
Preventative Maintenance Management: Maintain and continuously improve preventative maintenance plans in SAP R/3 through regular audits and schedule optimisation.
