Plant Controller

Our client is an established Tier 1 automotive manufacturing company based in Strathroy, Ontario, specializing in magnesium and aluminum castings. They operate with a high-performing team and are seeking a Plant Controller to lead their finance and IT functions. This is a fantastic opportunity to take full ownership of plant-level finance, work closely with the CFO, and make a real impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting operations (AP, AR, payroll, general ledger)

Prepare and review financial statements

Lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes

Maintain internal controls and support annual audits

Manage budgets and ensure financial/departmental goals are achieved

Oversee plant IT systems to ensure they are effective, efficient, and compliant

Lead, coach, and manage the Plant Accounting and IT teams
