Job Description  
Position Purpose: 
To ensure the safe, efficient and continuous operations of mechanical/instrumentation equipment and other plant resources inside the facility.

Key Accountabilities: 
 
Safety 
To maintain the integrity of all mechanical and related safety devices and equipment (Bearing temperature, Fastener, Gearbox condition, pulley, shaft, coupling, v-belt, chain, ducting, sprocket, linkages, paddles, machine casing, seals, chute, impeller fire sensors, critical safety devices, etc) 
To implement assigned defects to be corrected- walk-thru reports, audit defects, etc. 
To actively participate in all safety activities - safety meetings, trainings, celebrations, etc. 
To play an active role in enforcing company safety policies, rules and regulations to more specific activities (Safety work permit system, etc) for maintenance and contractors.
