Plant Operator, Processing Facilities

Reporting directly to the Operation Supervisors, the Tank Farm Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient day‑to‑day operation of the facilities Tank Farm and tanker off‑loading/loading circuit while ensuring the Toronto facility maintains environmental compliance. The successful candidate will apply previous experience obtained from within a similar industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Active participant in GFL Environmental, Health & Safety Program.
• Comply with Corporate and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain a professional report with customers and drivers.
• Perform and complete shift and equipment checklists.
• Perform and complete daily housekeeping duties in designated circuit, or around the facility as directed by management or lead hand and to assist coworkers in other circuits upon call for aid, including the use of a pressure washer.
