Plant Operator - Water Cart

About the Opportunity

Parkes Shire Council is looking fora Water Cart Operator in the Operations team based at Council's Parkes Depot. 

In this role you will be required to operate and maintain Council's water truck for road maintenance and construction works.  The role will require compliance with the relevant standards and Council policies/procedures and to have regard for the safety of the public, road users and other employees.

You may be required to undertake a variety of other activities associated with civil construction, including but not limited to:

• Ensure the safe operation of all plant
• Service and clean plant
• Operating other mobile plant within the scope of training and capability
• Assist with set out of works
• Traffic control
