Plant Process Engineer - Plastic Injection Molding (Tilbury)

As a Plant Process Engineer reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing the molding processes at the MAHLE Tilbury facility. The role also involves problem‑solving activities and continuous improvement of current and new product lines.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive methods to eliminate downtime and throughput yield constraints.
• Drive future cycle time improvements and best practices.
• Develop, coordinate and troubleshoot the manufacturing process of plastic injection molding using polypropylene and nylon resins.
• Supervise technicians and plan Process Technicians’ activities across shifts.
• Develop the injection molding process for current tooling, including all molding machine parameters and peripheral equipment such as chillers and dryers.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processing problems for quality issues including dimensional issues, flash, short shots, burn areas...
