Plant Shift Electrician

Introduction

We are looking for a Plant Shift Electrician to join the team. 

Duties & Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance

• Attend daily team meetings led by the Foreman to align daily activities and prioritize work
• Complete work orders with comprehensive feedback to the Foreman
• Perform fault-finding on electrical equipment throughout the plant, including LV MCCs
• Conduct electrical legal inspections as required by the MHSA
• Scope and plan new electrical installations
• Work independently to solve electrical breakdowns efficiently
• Provide feedback on breakdowns during the course of the shift and escalate deviations when identified

Finance & Asset Management

• Identify critical spares required for the upkeep of electrical equipment
• Flag critical spares for budget planning purposes
• Identify and propose cost-saving initiatives
