Job Description & Requirements

1. Cleaning, repairing, and preparing surfaces for plastering, including removing old plaster, patching holes, and ensuring a level base.

2. Mixing plaster, cement, or other materials to the proper consistency, often using hand tools or mechanical mixers.

3. Applying plaster coats to walls and ceilings, using trowels, floats, and other tools to achieve a smooth, even finish.

4. Installing plasterboard and wallboard partitions.

5. Applying finishing coats and smoothing surfaces, including sealing nail holes and joins.

6. Repairing damaged plasterwork, both internally and externally.

7. Communicating with clients and other tradespeople to coordinate work and ensure smooth project completion.
