Plastic Injection Molding Technician

The Role:

As a Plastic Injection Molding Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding equipment to produce high-quality plastic components. Your expertise will ensure smooth production operations, minimize downtime, and maintain product consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor injection molding machines
• Perform mold changes, start-ups, and process adjustments
• Conduct quality inspections on finished products using standard measuring tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve common molding issues (flash, short shots, sink marks)
• Maintain production records and documentation
• Perform routine maintenance on molds and equipment
• Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
• Work with engineering and quality teams to optimize production processes
• Assist with training of new operators as needed
