Platform Engineer

Overview

Platform Engineer – Electronic Trading in London. Hybrid (3 days in the office per week).

This role is to help build a new electronic trading platform from the ground up, running in a private cloud environment. It is a hands-on role sitting close to the trading desk, focused on performance, reliability, and scale in a fast-moving front-office setup.

Base pay range

This range is provided by Bourne Search Ltd. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

What you’ll be working on

• Building and running a private-cloud platform for a greenfield electronic trading system
• Supporting low-latency on-premises environments, performance-critical workloads
• Working day-to-day with developers and the trading desk to keep systems fast, stable, and observable
