Platform Operations Engineer

Overview
We are hiring a Platform Operations Engineer to operate and optimise a production-grade AWS platform supporting high-throughput, mission-critical file transfer workloads. This role focuses on cloud reliability, infrastructure optimisation, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Operate and support a production AWS cloud platform, ensuring availability, security, and performance
Own L2 incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and SLA-driven resolution
Manage and optimise AWS infrastructure for scalability, cost efficiency, and high availability
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
Enforce operational best practices: runbooks, dashboards, health checks, release and change management
Drive platform reliability improvements and operational automation
