Key Responsibilities

Installation: Reading blueprints and drawings to plan the layout of plumbing systems, including the placement of pipes, drainage, and vents.

Assembly: Cutting, threading, and bending pipes using saws, pipe cutters, and threaders; joining pipes via soldering, brazing, or chemical bonding.

Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshooting leaks, clogs, and malfunctions in toilets, sinks, bathtubs, and water heaters.

System Testing: Using pressure gauges to detect leaks and ensuring the integrity of the system before it is put into service.

Equipment Care: Installing and servicing specialized equipment like sump pumps, backflow preventers, and water filtration systems.

Emergency Response: Responding to urgent calls for burst pipes, sewage backups, or gas leaks.

Compliance: Ensuring all installations meet the standards of the National Plumbing Code (or local equivalents)...
