Police Detective (X2)

Search crime scenes, interview persons, secure and collaborate testimony, secure and preserve evidence, serve warrants and subpoenas, make arrests and perform all steps required in the investigation of offenses and crimes and the protection of life and property. Maintain strict confidentiality. Be impartial and sensitive to complex situations and handle them effectively. Operate and maintain firearms and equipment safe and effectively. Must have accurate record keeping skills; communication skills(written, verbal and interpersonal); must have working knowledge of safe operation and care of firearms; photography, fingerprinting, obtaining latent prints, evidenced collections and interview/interrogation techniques; and experience in suspect apprehension and self-protection.
