What the role is

The candidate will be involved in crafting policies to ensure that Singapore is at the forefront of anti‑scam and other defensive network measures spanning across all infocomm/internet channels.

What you will be working on

• Work closely with other government agencies and industry to ensure the effective implementation of mitigation measures against scam calls and messages;
• Assist to implement strategy to engage telco regulators and facilitate international cooperation to address the issue of scams at source;
• Perform horizon scanning of anti‑scam development and other network defence measures and analyse the impact of these developments on IMDA’s regulatory and market policy; play an advisory role to other business units within IMDA regarding existing policy positions and new areas of policy work in the telecom and media space for scams;
