Polishing/Assembly Operator

Job Summary:

The Polishing / Assembly Operator is responsible for polishing, finishing, fitting, and assembling mold components to meet required surface finish, dimensional accuracy, and functional performance. The role ensures molds are properly assembled, tested, and ready for production use while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform polishing and finishing of mold components to required surface and texture standards
• Use manual polishing tools, stones, sandpaper, and polishing compounds
• Assemble mold parts including cores, cavities, sliders, ejector systems, and guide components
• Check proper alignment, fit, and movement of assembled mold components
• Conduct basic mold testing and functional checks
• Repair or re-polish mold parts as needed based on inspection results
• Maintain cleanliness of mold parts and work area during assembly
