Pollution Control Officer

JOB SUMMARY

The Pollution Control Officer (PCO) is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and standards. The PCO oversees pollution prevention, waste management, environmental monitoring, and the implementation of occupational safety and health programs in coordination with BOSH, MOSH, and TOSH.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Environmental Compliance and Pollution Control
• Ensure compliance with DENR regulations, environmental permits, and applicable local ordinances.
• Implement pollution control programs to prevent air, water, and land contamination.
• Monitor wastewater treatment systems, emissions, solid waste, and hazardous waste disposal.
• Prepare, submit, and maintain environmental reports such as SMR, Hazardous Waste Reports, and Permit Compliance Monitoring.
