Pollution Control Officer

What you'll be doing

• Ensure that the organization adheres to all environmental laws, regulations, and standards set by relevant authorities, such as the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, collect environmental samples, and analyze data to monitor pollution levels. Prepare detailed reports on pollution incidents and compliance status for government agencies.
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize waste generation and pollution. Supervise the operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities.
• Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Act as a liaison between the organization and regulatory bodies, ensuring effective communication regarding environmental compliance and best practices.
