Pollution Control Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Pollution Control Officer / Industrial Engineer is responsible for ensuring full compliance with environmental laws, rules, and regulations as prescribed by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and other regulatory agencies. The position likewise oversees process efficiency, waste minimization, and continuous improvement initiatives in support of sustainable and compliant operations.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Functions

• Ensure strict compliance with all applicable environmental laws, DENR regulations,
• permits, and clearances.
• Monitor and control air emissions, wastewater discharges, solid and hazardous waste
• generation and disposal.
• Prepare, submit, and maintain all required environmental reports, including but not limited to:
• Self-Monitoring Reports (SMR)
• Compliance Monitoring Reports (CMR)
