Polysomnographic Technician - Sleep Lab Urbana

Overview
A sleep (polysomnographic) technician performs comprehensive sleep testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general supervision of a sleep technologist (RPSGT or RST) and/or the medical director or designee. Provides education and support to patients and families regarding sleep testing and sleep disorders treatment. A sleep technician can provide general supervision of a sleep trainee.

Documents patient arrival, interactions, and consent for testing. Reviews patient history and supporting documentation for medical necessity.
