Job Description

Job Summary:

Perform nocturnal sleep studies, monitoring patients during all stages of sleep; trial therapeutic interventions and evaluate their effectiveness with all studies conducted in regional sleep lab(s).

Essential Responsibilities:



+ Placement of EEG, EMG, and ECG according to the AASM and the 10-20 measurement system. Observe sleep and EEG dysfunctions by utilizing various monitors simultaneously in a safe and effective manner. Use of a computerized sleep lab system to socre live acquired sleep data per the current AASM guidelines. Utilizing protocols developed by Sleep Medical Directors, provide therapeutic interventions for observed sleep dysfunction, measure and evaluate the results of interventions and make necessary adjustments resulting in a prescription for durable medical equipment.
