The City of Iqaluit is looking for a temporary Pool and Facility Operator to join our team!
Title: Pool and Facility Operator Department: Recreation Status: Full-time temporary position beginning January 5th 2026 and ending May 1 2026 Salary: $38.74 per hour, 35 hour/week Settlement Allowance: $20,907.43 per annum Union Status: Unionized Closing Date: OPEN UNTIL FILLED The Pool and Facility Operator is responsible for overall building, equipment and providing a physically safe environment.
Required Education and Experience Minimum Level of Education/Training: · Diploma, or certificate in Mechanical Systems (2 year) or another related field · Pool operators 1 &2 Course · Standard First Aid and CPR (c) · Ability to pass a swim test as set by the Aquatics Coordinator · Class 5 Nunavut Driver’s License · WHIMS · Ability to communicate in Inuktitut and/or French preferred Minimum Level of Experience: · Minimum Four to five years of experience with mechanical systems opera...
