Post-Doctoral Associate/Associate Research Scientist in the Division of Engineering

Description

The Energy and Propulsion Laboratory () in the Division of Engineering, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Postdoctoral Associate or Associate Research Scientist to work on aerospace propulsion.

The successful applicant will drive a fascinating project on the emerging technologies for propulsion systems. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, fundamental studies of reactive flow, chemical kinetics, combustion, and detonation, for a wide range of propulsion applications, including rocket/hypersonic propulsion systems, gas turbine engines for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), and sustainable aviation fuels for urban air mobility (UAM). The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students, and undergraduate students.
