Registered: Either University of Cape Town (UCT) or Nelson Mandela University (NMU)

Collaborators: Prof. Lisa Beal, Dr. Shane Elipot, Prof. Arne Biastoch

The Agulhas System Climate Array (ASCA) is an array of moorings, which was partially deployed from April 2015 to April 2016, and fully deployed from April 2016 to May 2018. We are looking for a dynamic physical oceanographer to lead the analysis of this mooring data in the context of regional impacts to South Africa in terms of shelf dynamics, coastal rainfall patterns, and interactions with embayments such as Algoa Bay.
