Job Summary
The Postal Clerk I support daily postal operations within the USPS Contract Station by providing customer service and processing postal transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system, including the sale of stamps, processing of money orders, and distribution of packages. The position is responsible for sorting and delivering campus mail to departmental and student mailboxes throughout the day, as well as performing all duties associated with the contract window, including scanning packages, preparing daily deposits, and maintaining accurate records.
