We are looking for a highly motivated post-doc with a keen eye for molecular mechanisms in biology to help us investigate how Notch receptors and ADAM proteases interact. Our team is a leading group in the field of DNA nanotechnology and molecular tools for life-science research. As a research lab we strive to unravel how spatial relations between molecules on the nanoscale level affect biology. We have recently discovered a mode of activation of Notch that does not require pulling forces that we want to investigate further. These are hard-to-get-to problems where many traditional methods are inadequate. The field of nanoscale fysiology is now waiting to be fully explored and we are at the forefront of developing the right technologies for the job.
