Job Description & Qualification
The Institute for Accounting at the University of Bern invites applications for two postdoctoral positions: one in Financial Accounting and one in Managerial Accounting. Applicants should hold a doctoral degree (or be close to completion) in Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related field, with outstanding academic achievements. The ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong interest in research and possess advanced knowledge in either Financial Accounting or Managerial Accounting, along with a solid understanding of either psychological theories or agency theory. Experience with experimental research methods is highly desirable.
Candidates should present a promising research plan and demonstrate a strong commitment to producing high-quality research. Proficiency in English and/or German is required.
