Postdoc Position

Overview

The Facultad de Ciencias (FdeC) and the Instituto de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales (ICEN) at Universidad Arturo Prat, Iquique, Chile, invite young researchers to be considered for the FONDECYT Postdoctoral Fellowship 2027. The position is for 2–3 years and the successful candidate should begin in 2027.

Research Interests

• Renormalization and asymptotic charges in AdS gravity
• Holographic quantum information in AdS/CFT
• Gauge theories of gravitation
• Modified gravity theories in different dimensions
• Exact and numerical solutions
• Cosmological models
• Asymptotic symmetries
• Lie‑algebra expansions

Responsibilities

To interact and collaborate with FdeC‑ICEN faculty members and graduate students. No mandatory teaching duties are required.

Qualifications

Applicants must have obtained their Ph.D. within the last three years.
