Postdoctoral Fellow at Oxford in Neural Rendering and Medical Image Reconstruction

We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to develop neural implicit representations and neural rendering methods (NeRF, Gaussian splatting) for reconstructing 3D fetal brain volumes from freehand handheld ultrasound video, targeting near-real-time performance at the bedside.

Funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the project aims to enable quantitative fetal brain assessment in low-resource clinical settings.

Strong candidates from 3D computer vision or neural rendering are encouraged to apply; medical imaging experience is not required. 2-year fixed-term post, based in Oxford with flexible working.
