Postdoctoral Fellow — Secure Optical Communications

Corehr is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Optical Communications Security at the Department of Engineering Science in Oxford. The position involves developing an eavesdropper detection system as part of the SEKE project and is fixed-term until 29 February 2028.

Ideal candidates will have a PhD or be close to obtaining one, experience with optical fibre communications, and programming skills in Python. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Applications should be submitted by midday on Monday 6 July 2026.
