Postdoctoral Position in the Department of Physics, Bombay, India

Department of Physics, IIT Bombay, intends to appoint one postdoctoral position in theoretical aspects of gravity, cosmology and gravitational waves. The post is funded by the ANRG-Advanced Research Grant. The researchers are expected to have experience with gravitation, Black hole physics and gravitatiional waves.

Ph.D. in Physics with a focus on Gravity. The candidate should have shown high-quality research experience in the relevant research areas. The researchers are expected to have experience with gravitation, Black hole physics and gravitatiional waves. A Ph.D. degree and relevant research experience are required for this post. Candidates awarded Ph.D. recently, or research scholars who have submitted their thesis and waiting for the examination are strongly encouraged to apply.

Tenure: 1 year extendable for one more year

Consolidated Salary Rs. 61000 + HRA (as applicable) per month...
