Job Description The Institute of Modern Physics (IMP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) invites applications for postdoctoral research associates to work on the NvDEx experiment, a novel neutrinoless double-beta decay experiment using high pressure 82SeF6 gas TPC and top-metal silicon sensor read-outs. The successful candidates may participate in any aspects of the experiment according to their interest and expertise, from the design and construction of the TPC, silicon sensor read-outs, pressure chamber, gas system to software and radiation background control. With a comprehensive research portfolio, including atomic physics, nuclear physics and applications, IMP is the most prominent research institute for nuclear physics in China.
