The Opportunity

 

An exciting opportunity to join the lab of Stephen Wallace and research at the interface of biology and chemistry is available. We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to develop novel, sustainable and circular biomanufacturing methods. You would become part of a large multidisciplinary friendly team, working as part of a multinational consortium with access to world-class facilities. 

Specifically, the candidate would be optimising microbial strains for production of rubber monomers and develop upstream and downstream methods for increased yield of volatile chemicals from sustainable feedstocks.
