The project
For this you will combine computational (dry lab) and experimental (wet lab) approaches. This position offers the opportunity to work at the interface of genomics, epigenetics and molecular evolutionary biology in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.

Your profile

PhD in molecular biology, computational evolutionary biology, or a related life science discipline

Expertise in bioinformatics and analysis/visualization of NGS datasets (R, command line, workflow management)

Hands-on experience with standard molecular biology techniques (PCR, RT-qPCR, microscopy, ideally genomics)

Knowledge of non-model genomes, genome annotation, and/or integration of multi-omic datasets (RNA-seq, chromatin profiling, chromatin accessibility, proteomics) is an asset

Ability to work independently and drive a research project in a structured and systematic manner <...
