Postdoctoral Researcher in Cell and Vascular Biology, Centre of Excellence in Immune (IMMENs)

POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER

The IMMENs affiliated research group of Dr. Vaahtomeri at the University of Helsinki invites applications for a fixed‑term position. This is a 2‑year post‑doctoral research role with a six‑month trial period and potential extension upon success.

Scientific context

IMMENs investigates the role of lymphatic vessel endothelium in controlling immune responses. The focus is on the crosstalk between lymphatic endothelium and immune cells, mechanisms and therapeutic potential in homeostasis, inflammation and tumorigenesis. The role involves developing experimental approaches using in‑vivo mouse models, live and intravital imaging, micro‑chip models, primary cell co‑culture systems and advanced microscopy and analysis methods.
