Postdoctoral Researcher in Human Disease Modelling

We are seeking

a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the at the MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine. Dr Khan's group develops and applies human organoid and multi-organoid microphysiological ('organ-on-chip') systems to investigate the basic processes of blood and immune cell production, and how these are perturbed in ageing and disease. You will hold, or be close to completion of, a PhD/DPhil in a relevant area of the life sciences and have a strong publication record. You will bring broad experience in molecular and cellular biology, including standard techniques for nucleic acid and protein analysis, together with demonstrable hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and multi-parameter flow cytometry. You will be able to manage your own research, work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and communicate your findings clearly.
