Post‑doctoral Researcher – Biodiversity Sciences, University of Turku

The Department of Biodiversity Sciences at the University of Turku invites applications for a post‑doctoral researcher to work in the ERC‑funded NATURETIME project. The position is offered for an initial 24‑month full‑time contract (potentially renewable for another 33 months), with employment beginning at the earliest in August 2026 and no later than 1 October 2026. The researcher will work with the Biodiversity and Sustainability Solutions (BISONS) Lab in Turku, Finland.

In the NATURETIME project the researcher will design and conduct virtual‑reality experiments to investigate how nature experiences influence human time perception and how time perception impacts pro‑environmental and sustainable behaviours. Key responsibilities include:
