Poultry Processing Millwright

A poultry processing facility in Stutterheim is seeking to employ a Millwright, to join our Maintenance Department. a Successful candidate will fit best with the following criteria:

Experience

• 3 year millwright or related experience in either building or production
• Qualified Trade tested Mechanical Fitter with SETA accredited Red Seal
• Experience in poultry processing advantageous
• Mechanical maintenance and fault finding
• Machines and tools, including their design, uses and repair

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operation,
• Grind and file machinery parts both on-site and in controlled circumstances,
• Inspect construction to meet project-based needs,
• Direct workers when interacting with or using equipment,
• Ensuring that the storeman always has stock on hand of all parts required for preventati...
