Power Electronics Engineer

An exciting new contract opportunity for a Power Electronics Engineer on a 6 months contract, Outside IR35.

Power Electronics Engineer:

Support and review the design of the DC‑DC conversion stage of an on‑board power electronics module to prototype readiness.
Support testing and verification activities on existing prototype hardware, with the understanding that there is limited scope to influence the established architecture.
Provide technical guidance to mechanical and PCB design engineers developing an integrated power electronics unit, combining PFC and DC‑DC stages into a compact, robust, and manufacturable solution.
Demonstrated hands‑on experience with the bring‑up and verification of high‑voltage power electronics, including:
Safe working practices
Appropriate control, measurement, and diagnostic techniques
Ability to identify, prioritise, and investigate functional issues within complex power electronics systems, driving issues through to resolut...
