Power Plant Mechanic

**Position Responsibilities:**

+ Maintains a safe workplace program and ensures that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.

+ Complies with all ASC Environmental, Safety and Health (ESH), Waste Management and Quality Assurance requirements, goals, policies and procedures.  Provides documentation to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.  

+ Performs preventive maintenance on primary Power Plant generators, remote site and airfield generators and various emergency generators.

+ Performs on-site troubleshooting, repairs and overhauls of generator engines.

+ Responds to station power outages and equipment failures as required.

+ Willingness to carry a radio or pager for after hour’s call out’s

+ Completes maintenance records and documents all maintenance performed and maintains operating logbooks and databases as required.
