About the Position: In this position, you will serve as a journey-level Power Plant Mechanic at a multipurpose hydroelectric facility. Full performance responsibilities are listed below. Responsibilities Perform general powerhouse mechanical equipment maintenance. Perform machine work of varying degrees of difficulty and exactness. Perform a variety of types of welding (oxygen-acetylene, shielded metal-arc, TIG, MIG). Install and repair piping systems. Perform a variety of types of cutting (oxygen-acetylene, carbon-arc), brazing, and soldering operations. Maintain metal working equipment and accessories.
