Power Protection Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power Protection Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of power system protection schemes to ensure system reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop protection schemes for MV and HV power systems
• Perform protection coordination studies and relay settings calculations
• Configure and test protection relays (e.g., Siemens, ABB, Schneider, and GE)
• Conduct fault analysis and power system studies using software such as ETAP, DigSILENT, or PowerFactory
• Commission protection systems on-site and perform troubleshooting
• Review single-line diagrams, protection logic diagrams, and schematics
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, and local regulatory standards
