Job Description
Join FLYING WHALES as a Power System Performance Engineer and drive the advancement of eco-friendly air transport solutions. Leverage your electrical engineering experience to ensure optimal performance of our pioneering LCA60T airships.
As part of the Power Systems team, your primary responsibility will be analyzing and enhancing the hybrid electric power systems aboard our airships. You will engage with the design of a 4MW system while modeling performance, developing control loops, and guaranteeing reliability through effective simulations. This role is key to creating cutting-edge solutions in the transport sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess the performance of hybrid electric power systems
• Establish dynamic models for the electrical system
• Develop simulation tools for performance evaluation
