DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform grid connection studies and power system analysis using PSCAD, PSSE and DigSILENT PowerFactory for the proposed generator system such as solar farms, wind farms and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Capability to capture and put into a report format the graphical results of the Generator Performance Standards studies and write a narrative of the results observed.
• Perform harmonic assessment using software modelling of the proposed renewable energy resources such as solar farms, wind farms and battery energy storage system (BESS).
• Perform a Single Machine Infinite Bus (SMIB) model using OEM provided PSCAD, PSSE model.
• Undertake grid connection process for renewable energy projects, including conducting feasibility studies, securing grid access agreements, and coordinating grid connection design and implementation.
