PowerCo is hiring a Safety Specialist in St. Thomas to ensure compliance and enhance HSE systems. This hybrid role emphasizes risk management and cultural development.
You'll work under the HSE Director, ensuring that construction phases at the Gigafactory adhere to health, safety, and environmental legislation. Your role will involve managing ISO 45001 processes, conducting thorough risk assessments, and developing effective safety training plans geared toward creating a positive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure statutory compliance and internal reporting
• Supervise development of safety design in operations
• Manage health safety elements of the HSEMS systems
• Conduct investigations into HSE incidents and hazards
• Formulate safety concepts with project management consultants
Requirements:
• Health, Safety or related degree
• Five years of HSE experience in high-risk settings
• Expertise in ISO 45001 and risk management
