The primary purpose of this position is to install, operate, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical power production equipment and associated components, electrical distribution equipment, diesel, gasoline, and/or multifuel engines, and aircraft arresting systems. Responsibilities Installs, inspects, and performs modifications and repairs to electrical generators both real property and mobile. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical powered support systems. Troubleshoot electrical power support systems such as electrical generating plants and automatic transfer switches of various design and manufacture. Maintain, inspect, repairs, diagnoses and modifies aircraft arresting systems. Perform after engagement inspection and certification.
