Powerline Technician (Journeyperson)

Overview

Participates as a member of the Transmission Distribution Operations division and performs Journeyperson level work in the construction and maintenance of electrical transmission and distribution systems, including substations underground and streetlight systems.

This position is based out of Hay River, NT , however routine work area encompasses all communities in the South Slave and Taltson Hydro site. May be assigned to support any of NTPC’s service areas including the Beaufort Delta, Dehcho / Sahtu, North/South Slave, hydro sites and remote transmission lines.

Please note this is NOT a fly-in/rotational position -- it does require the successful candidate to relocate to/live in Hay River, and must be willing & able to travel throughout the regions.
