Powerline Technician (Journeyperson)

Overview

Participates as a member of the Transmission Distribution Operations Division and performs Journeyperson level work in the construction and maintenance of electrical transmission and distribution systems, including substations underground and streetlight systems.

This position is based out of Inuvik, NT ; however routine work area encompasses all communities in the Beaufort Delta. May be assigned to support any of NTPC’s service areas including the Dehcho / Sahtu, North Slave and South Slave hydro sites and remote transmission lines.

Please note this is NOT a fly-in/rotational position - it does require the successful candidate to relocate to Inuvik, and must be willing and able to travel throughout the regions.
