Your team and your responsibilities
Team/division description
Research and Development (R&D) in Europe is responsible for the planning, the development and the production of attractive, superior quality cars matching European market requirements. R&D aims to strengthen the Toyota brand in Europe.
TME Powertrain Testing departments’ responsibilities are:
Evaluation of HEV and BEV Powertrain components (engine, motor, transmission, battery and related parts).
Support the shift to electrification by investigating European trends for e-Axles and components.
Calibrate and evaluate Hybrid powertrain to realize EU customer demand and EU regulation.
Validate Model Based Development.
Evaluate EU new powertrain technologies for future TOYOTA mass-production.
