Pre-Make Ready / Tooling Assistant

This role is responsible for carrying out all necessary preparations, set-ups and troubleshooting for a range of tooling such as stripping and blanking units.

About the Role

* Setting pins on stripping units and setting up of blanking units in accordance with schedule and job specifications.

* Positioning units at machine ready for make ready.

* Storage of units in correct locations.

* Assessing tooling to determine potential efficiency improvements and fit for purpose.

* Support to the Knife Maker as required.

* Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

* Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

* Strong organizational and communication skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Demonstrate willingness to learn the work process required
